O Tarot é geralmente associado às cartomantes, às coisas esotéricas, mágicas, ancestrais ou a algo muito distante da racionalidade e da ciência tradicional. E a "mágica" da coincidência significativa que se manifesta nos oráculos foi conceituada por Jung como Sincronicidade.
Ele descreve os símbolos do Tarot como arquétipos do inconsciente coletivo, ou seja, tudo que habita a parte mais profunda do nosso ser.
É um dos métodos usados pelo inconsciente para fazer emergir uma percepção - não apenas das artes da adivinhação, mas também daquelas outras "coincidências" que nos tocam tão profundamente que despertam para uma nova observação do momento já conhecido.
Tarot is generally associated with fortune tellers, esoteric, magical, ancestral things or something far from rationality and traditional science. And the "magic" of meaningful coincidence that manifests itself in oracles was conceptualized by Jung as Synchronicity.
He describes Tarot symbols as archetypes of the collective unconscious everything that inhabits the deepest part of our being.
It is one of the methods used by the unconscious to bring out a perception - not just the arts of divination, but also those other "coincidences" that touch us so deeply that they awaken us to a new observation of the already known moment.

Este projeto começou por sugestão da minha sogra (que jogava tarô), que me deu a ideia de tentar recriar as cartas do tarô de Marselha e Rider-Waite por meio de um estilo de ilustração distante desses decks mais clássicos. (Coincidência significativa?)
O intuito aqui é recriar esses decks por um novo ponto de vista, usando figuras e dando-lhes outro significado, mas mantendo os conceitos fundamentais das cartas desses dois tarôs clássicos.
This project started at the suggestion of my mother-in-law (who played tarot), who gave me the idea of trying to recreate the tarot cards of Marseille and Rider-Waite through a different style of illustration from these classic decks. (Significant coincidence?)
The intention here is to recreate these decks from a new point-of-view, using figures and giving them another meaning, but keeping the fundamental concepts of the cards of these two classic tarots.
